    Here is a nice pair of aqua glass, BIM (Blown In Mold), quart soda pop bottles with Baltimore Loop Seal (BLS) tops, circa 1890s-1900s. Embossed in slug plate: A.L. Joyce / Bottling / Works / Traverse City, Mich. One is embossed on reverse heel: This Bottle is Never Sold. The other does not have this embossing. Both have makers mark in faint letters on reverse heel: N.B.B.G. Co. BOTH bottles on for one low price. You see the crowntop bottles from this bottling works occasionally, but these earlier BLS top bottles are much harder to find.
    Condition: As found with some l ight haze. One has a nick on the reverse heel. NO other chips, cracks or dings. See pictures above. I grade this pair an 8 on a scale of 1 to 10.
